I attended the Selling Online Challenge (SellingOnline.com) a few months ago, went through the whole thing, and in this review, I’ll tell you exactly what it’s like from the inside.
I will say right away that the training is very good, and I say that as someone who’s been in this space for years and has done a bunch of Russell’s other trainings.
But there are a few things that bothered me, especially around pricing and how replays work, that I think you need to know before you buy it.
So, in this review, I’ll share exactly what my experience was – what I liked, what I didn’t, and whether I think it’s worth your time and money.

First of All – What Is the Selling Online Challenge?
For those who don’t know yet, the Selling Online Challenge is a fast, almost three-day training for people who want to start selling online.
It’s run by Russell Brunson, the guy behind ClickFunnels, who has been doing this for over 20 years, so the man knows what he’s talking about.
Each day has 3 to 4 sessions. Each session runs for 2 to 3 hours. So the total training length comes out to around 30 hours.
That’s a lot of content packed into a short window.
On top of the core training, you also get access to a Skool community group where you can interact with other people who took this challenge and get support from ClickFunnels team members.
Why I Decided to Try It
I’ve been in this field for quite a while now. I’ve done a bunch of Russell’s trainings over the years.
And I bought this training because I wanted to see how the sessions run and whether there might be something interesting I could learn.
Even after years of doing this, I still like to stay sharp and see what’s new.
And I can say that despite already knowing a lot of this stuff, the training offered some very interesting new ideas.
How Much Did It Cost Me?
The challenge price, at least when I bought it, was a one-time fee of $100.
But here’s what you need to know:
There are quite a few upsells.
And one of the main upsells is their VIP offer.
The VIP package costs an additional $197 and includes video replays and additional private VIP sessions.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
| Feature | Standard ($100) | VIP ($297) |
| Live Sessions | Yes | Yes |
| Session Replays | No | Yes |
| Private VIP Sessions | No | Yes |
| Skool Community Access | Yes | Yes |
| Total Cost | $100 | $297 |
How the Training Is Delivered
The training is delivered in video format, but it’s filmed on stage at the ClickFunnels auditorium, so the experience feels more like attending a virtual conference.
Russell Brunson is the main instructor.
But there are also guest speakers who share their own stories and strategies.
What the Training Looks Like
Russell mainly talks about how he personally started selling online, what he did, and how it all worked for him.
This guy has been doing this for over 20 years, so there’s a lot of real practical stuff in there.
And even if you’re a complete beginner, it’s all easy to follow.
The training covers three main areas:
- How to put together your offer – what to sell and how to position it so people actually want to buy.
- How to build a funnel to sell it – the actual pages and process that take someone from visitor to customer.
- How to get traffic – where to find people and how to get them into your funnel.
That’s basically the full picture of selling online. Offer, funnel, traffic. And this challenge covers all three.
What I Liked Most About This Challenge
The value given and the quality of the content. That’s what stood out to me.
Every time I go into something like this, I’m thinking – is this just stuff I’ve already seen a hundred times? Or is there actually something worth my time?
And I have to say, you’ll find things here you won’t get anywhere else.
Russell shares real stories from his own experience – actual things he did, results he got, and the mistakes he made.
The guest speakers add a lot of value, too.
They come in and share their own journeys, offering different perspectives on how to make this work.
And they managed to create some really good and very interesting training lessons.
Even for someone like me who’s been doing this for years, I walked away with new ideas.
The One Thing I Didn’t Like
When you buy this training, you only get access to live sessions.
That’s it.
If you want the session replays, you’ll have to purchase the additional VIP upsell for $197.
Now, for me personally, since I’m from Lithuania and everything runs on U.S. time, I had no other choice but to pay extra for the VIP package.
The sessions ran at times that just didn’t work for my time zone.
And I think you should consider this before buying.
If you’re in Europe, Asia, or anywhere outside the U.S., you’ll most likely need those replays.
I wish the replays were included in the base price, or at least offered as an add-on at a lower cost.
Can You Make Money From This?
My answer is very simple.
Everything depends on how much effort you put in.
With this training, you’ll get all the information you need on how to put together your offer, how to build a funnel to sell it, and how to get traffic in.
But I must say – your success will depend entirely on whether you take action and actually try to implement what you learned.
And I have to be clear – this is not a get-rich-quick training.
If that’s what you’re expecting, I’ll tell you right away that this is not for you.
I’d say that making money with this training is certainly possible, and in a variety of ways. But it all depends on you.
Who Is This For (And Who Should Skip It)
I want to highlight that this training is primarily built for beginners.
If you want to learn how to sell online from scratch, or you have an idea for a product or service but don’t know how to sell it, this is a great fit.
It covers the fundamentals of offers, funnels, and traffic, and you don’t need any prior experience to follow along.
But I also have no doubt that even highly advanced marketers will find valuable information here.
I know I did, and I’ve been doing this for years.
On the other hand, you should probably skip it if you’re looking for a get-rich-quick scheme or if you’re not willing to put what you learn into practice.
Also, if you’re outside the U.S. and know you won’t be able to attend the live sessions, consider whether you’re okay paying extra for the VIP replays.
Because without them, you might miss most of the content.
Selling Online Challenge vs Other Russell Brunson Trainings
I’ve done several of Russell’s trainings over the years.
So let me give you some context on how this one compares.
| Selling Online Challenge | One Funnel Away Challenge | One Comma Club Challenge | |
| Price | $100 | $100 | $100 |
| Duration | ~3 days (30 hrs) | 30 days | ~3 days |
| Best For | Beginners wanting to start selling online | Building your first funnel | Scaling to $1K+/month |
| Format | Live virtual conference | Daily video + assignments | Live virtual conference |
| Replays Included? | VIP only ($197 extra) | Yes | VIP only |
As you can see, if you’re brand new to selling online, the Selling Online Challenge is a solid starting point.
It gives you the full picture – offer, funnel, traffic – in a compressed timeframe.
The One Funnel Away Challenge is more hands-on and spans 30 days, so you have more time to actually build something.
The One Comma Club Challenge is better if you already have some foundation and want to push toward your first $1,000+ month.
My take: if you’re starting from zero, the Selling Online Challenge is where I’d begin.
Would I Go Through It Again?
Yes. Without a doubt.
I’ve done a bunch of Russell’s trainings, and I always come out having learned something useful.
This one was no different.
Even with my experience, I picked up new ideas that I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else.
So My My Final Verdict Would Be This
Before the information gets called, take at least some action immediately.
During the training, sketch out your offer and get a ClickFunnels account to start building the sales funnel you need.
