I found the One Funnel Away Challenge to be a highly structured and informative program, particularly beneficial for those new to sales funnel building.
However, it requires a significant time commitment each day, which might be challenging for people with busy schedules.
Additionally, while it is great for beginners, more experienced funnel builders might not find it as beneficial.
It provides a mix of daily lessons, practical assignments, and community interaction.
While it costs $100 there is also an option to join for free if you’re trying out ClickFunnels.
The One Funnel Away Challenge is great for learning in-depth about sales funnels from experts, but you need to have the time for it.
However, you should also consider the cost and the commitment to keeping up with the fast-paced lessons, especially if you’re not certain about using ClickFunnels.

So, as you can see, you get really detailed training. It covers everything you need to know about making sales funnels.
The lessons are about building sales funnels in general. They also show you how to use these ideas specifically with ClickFunnels.
Each lesson starts with an explanation of the day’s topic. You learn how it works and how to use it well. Then, you get to see how to do it yourself in practice using ClickFunnels.
Together with the OFA Challenge I also got free access to several tools like the Geru Funnel Simulator, Pyk Cover Creator, Courserate Access, and Email Copy Generator.
Right after finishing my registration, log in details for these tools landed in my email inbox.
I found the GERU Funnel Simulator particularly useful for its ability to visualize and map out sales funnels, allowing me to analyze different scenarios and identify potential bottlenecks.
It aids in financial forecasting and can generate ideas for A/B testing, optimizing marketing efforts.
Plus, inside the training, there’s a community where all of us in the challenge can chat and share tips.
One more thing that is probably important to mention is that in the introductory week, you will have the opportunity to get a free t-shirt just for watching 4 onboarding videos, each lasting from 4 to 16 minutes.
What Was My Personal Experience With this Challenge?
I first joined the One Funnel Away Challenge when it launched a few years back.
It was a great experience, helping me earn $8,500 from an affiliate funnel in just a month.
In total, this affiliate funnel generated about $37,000.
During the One Funnel Away Challenge, the lesson on ‘Building Your List’ was particularly impactful.
By applying these strategies, I was able to grow my email list by 40% in just a month.
Additionally, the ‘Creating Your Offer’ week helped me refine my service packages, resulting in a 20% increase in conversion rates.
These tangible improvements in my business metrics were direct outcomes of the practical insights and skills I gained from the program.
What Was the Old One Funnel Away Challenge?
The old One Funnel Away Challenge was a 30-day program designed to help you build your own sales funnel. Each day, you get a new video with a mission to complete within 24 hours.
These missions, taking about 30 to 60 minutes each, covered everything from designing offers to creating pages for your funnel.
In 2021, the challenge got some updates. Russell Brunson stayed as the main coach, but now there were new lessons from Rachel Miller and a change in the workbooks. Instead of downloading PDFs every day, you used an online “OnePager” workbook to keep notes.
This made it easier to track your progress.
The first week of the challenge was all about getting you in the right mindset. It was about believing you can do it and understanding you’re just one funnel away from success.
After that, each week focused on different parts of creating a funnel – like making your first sales funnel, writing good sales copy, and finally launching your funnel.
Everyone also got extra help like live training sessions, a big digital ebook with strategies from successful marketers, and access to interviews with marketing experts.
These bonuses added a lot of value to the challenge.
However, the content was only available for 30 days, which was a bit of a challenge if you couldn’t keep up.
The challenge cost $100, which seemed reasonable given all the resources and training you got.
What’s New in The Latest One Funnel Away Challenge
Recently, at the end of November 2023, the One Funnel Away Challenge was re-launched.
In the latest version of the One Funnel Away Challenge, there have been several notable changes, especially in terms of pricing and bonuses offered.
The pricing structure now offers more flexibility.
You can participate in the One Funnel Away Challenge for free if you sign up for a 30-day trial of ClickFunnels, or if you’re already a paid ClickFunnels user.
If these are not valid options, then you can choose to pay $100 for it.
This is a significant shift from the previous version, making the challenge more accessible to a wider audience.
The bonuses have also undergone a major overhaul, and in my opinion, they’ve become much more practical and valuable.
The new bonuses include:
- 30 Days of Video Coaching and Missions From Russell Brunson: These are high-value coaching sessions providing in-depth guidance throughout the challenge.
- Live Facilitator and Coaches During the Challenges: This offers real-time support and interaction, enhancing the learning experience significantly.
- Workbook and Swipe Files for Each Mission: These resources are crucial for applying the lessons learned in a structured and effective manner.
- Geru Funnel Simulator Software: A practical tool that helps in visualizing and planning your sales funnels.
- Pyks E-Cover Generator Software: This software helps in creating professional-looking e-covers for your digital products, adding more value to your offers.
- Email Copy Generator: A tool to assist in crafting effective email marketing campaigns, which is essential for successful funnel marketing.
- Courserate Software for Building Courses: A useful resource for those looking to create and sell online courses.
- Free 30-Day ClickFunnels Trial: This gives participants a risk-free opportunity to explore and utilize ClickFunnels.
The training lessons of new version of the One Funnel Away Challenge is a lot like the old one but with major improvements.
It has less of the ‘general’ stuff and focuses more on what’s important.
This makes it easier to understand and learn without having to worry about extra information that you don’t need.
For example, compared to the previous version of OFA, probably the biggest discovery for me was last week’s “Fill Your Funnel” lessons.
Which includes 4 specific lessons with detailed strategies to drive targeted traffic to your funnels.
I can guarantee that everyone will discover something new in these lessons.
By the way, one more thing:
In the last week, which is called “Fill Your Funnel” (here they mean traffic to your funnels), there is an opportunity to sign up for the “Fill Your Funnel Challenge“, which should also be free for all ClickFunnels users.
For now, it’s just a Waitlist.
But this shows that it won’t take long for another very interesting product of theirs to appear, aimed at those who are having a hard time attracting traffic to their sales funnels.
Another part I really enjoyed was how they explained the 6 Core Funnels.
The goal was to make these funnels easy to understand for everyone in the challenge.
Often, people can get confused by the different types of funnels out there.
But in this lesson, they laid out the 6 main ones very simply and clearly, showing what each is used for and their key components.
This slide, showing the 6 Core Funnels, comes up a lot throughout the training.
Many probably think that considering how sales-orientated ClickFunnels products are, there will also be a lot of theory, but little practice, and hands-on experiences.
However, I can tell you right away that you are very wrong. The challenge is highly practical.
Each lesson included actionable steps, on how to create a functioning and successful sales funnel where Russell provides a detailed background on the day’s topic, followed by another section that shows you how to put it all into practice.
True, there were some parts of it I didn’t really like.
What bothered me most was how the modules were released one day at a time.
This means if you’re going through the lessons one by one, it’ll take at least a month to build a functioning funnel.
Even for beginners, this might feel a bit too slow (I’m not even talking about more advanced ones).
I wish I could have accessed all the modules right away and learned at my own speed.
I should also point out that taking part in the One Funnel Away Challenge required a lot more time and effort than I first thought it would.
Each day, I dedicated approximately 1-2 hours to the challenge.
This included watching the training videos, which were about 15-60 minutes long, and then applying the lessons to my own funnel, which took about an hour or more, depending on the complexity of the day’s task.
Moreover, the weekends were not entirely free.
I often spent a few hours reviewing the week’s content and preparing for the upcoming modules. This was crucial to ensure I didn’t fall behind.
The challenge also required mental effort and focus. The concepts were sometimes complex, and applying them practically needed careful thought and experimentation.
I often found myself revisiting certain lessons to fully grasp the material.
In total, I estimate that I invested around 60 hours over the month-long challenge.
For anyone considering the One Funnel Away Challenge, it’s important to be prepared for this level of commitment.
Key Takeaways from the Challenge
Throughout the One Funnel Away Challenge, I gleaned several key insights that have transformed my approach to sales funnel building.
Here are the most significant lessons:
- Comprehensive Approach to Sales Funnels: I learned about every part of a sales funnel, from the first page visitors see to the thank you page. This gave me a full picture of how customers move through the funnel and how to make each step better.
- The Importance of Storytelling in Marketing: A big surprise for me was how important stories are in making good sales funnels. I learned to tell stories that really connect with people, which makes my marketing much more effective.

What In My Opinion Could be Improved?
From my perspective, one area that could be significantly enhanced in the One Funnel Away Challenge is the section on generating traffic for funnels.
While last week’s lessons on this topic were incredibly insightful and offered great suggestions and methods, I feel there’s room for improvement.
Getting traffic is usually the hardest part for people, so having more lessons and deeper information on this would be really helpful.
I’m hopeful that this issue will be solved with the launch of the “Fill Your Funnel Challenge.”

Here’s what I recommend based on my experience:

- Stay Open-Minded: Be open to new ideas and approaches, even if they differ from what you’ve done in the past. The challenge is about growth and sometimes that means stepping out of your comfort zone.
