My Best Sales Funnel Builders

I’ve been building sales funnels since 2017, and after working with most of the major funnel builders, these are the ones I’d confidently recommend to others:

Of course, there isn’t one funnel builder that’s best for every business.

I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years, so hopefully you won’t have to repeat them.

In this guide, I’ll compare each platform, show you where I think it stands out, where it falls short, and explain which one I’d choose for different types of businesses.

I’ve also created a short 5-question quiz that will recommend the sales funnel builder I’d choose based on your answers.

It takes only about 20-30 seconds.

My Experience With Funnel Builders

I’ve been building websites for more than 15 years and sales funnels since 2017.

During that time, I’ve tested dozens of funnel builders, page builders, checkout platforms, and marketing tools.

Some I’ve used for years.

Others I’ve tested for weeks before deciding they just weren’t the right fit.

Today, I actively use both ClickFunnels and Systeme.io, but I’ve also spent a lot of time working with platforms like GoHighLevel, Kartra, Perspective Funnels, Funnelish, Convertri, ThriveCart, SamCart, OptimizePress, and many others.

The recommendations in this guide aren’t based on feature lists or YouTube reviews.

They’re based on my personal experience building real funnels, launching real products, running real affiliate campaigns, and seeing where each platform works well and where it starts to struggle.

Over the years, I’ve built more than 300 sales funnels and helped funnel builder companies generate more than $4 million in revenue through my referrals.

I also earned the ClickFunnels Dream Car Award after referring more than 200 active members to the platform.

I’ve spent thousands of hours inside them.

I’ve made mistakes, switched platforms, tested new features, and learned what actually matters once you start using them every day.

My goal isn’t to convince you that one platform is perfect.

Every platform in this guide has strengths and weaknesses.

Instead, I want to help you understand which one is the best fit for the type of business you’re trying to build.

My Top Sales Funnel Builder Recommendations For Different Scenarios

If you don’t have time to read this entire guide, here’s the short version.

I’ve worked with most of the major funnel builders on the market.

However, there’s one more important thing we should talk about.

And we need to discuss this in the next section.

What You Should Understand Before Choosing a Funnel Builder

If you’ve been researching sales funnel builders for a while, you’ve probably noticed something strange.

Almost every “best funnel builder” article compares completely different types of software as if they were direct competitors.

One platform is built specifically for creating sales funnels.

Sales Funnel Builder Visual Explanation

Another is primarily an online course platform.

what is an online course platform visualization

A third is really just a checkout platform.

what is a checkout platform visualization

And another is just a landing page builder with a few funnel features.

what is landing page builder visualization

They’re all called “funnel builders,” even though they’re designed to solve very different problems.

In my opinion, this is one of the biggest reasons people end up buying the wrong software.

Before I compare the best sales funnel builders, I think it’s worth understanding what a sales funnel builder is and how it differs from other marketing tools.

My Definition of a Sales Funnel Builder

I consider a true sales funnel builder to be software primarily designed to create and connect multiple stages of a conversion journey – such as opt-in pages, sales pages, checkout, order bumps, upsells or downsells, follow-up automation, and conversion tracking.

What a Sales Funnel Builder Looks Like - Visualization

1. Full Funnel Platforms

These are all-in-one platforms that can manage most or all of the customer journey within one system.

They usually combine funnel building, landing pages, checkout, email marketing, automation, CRM or contact management, and sometimes courses or memberships.

Examples include ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Perspective Funnels, Kartra, and Convertri.

These are the platforms I’d look at first if you want to run most of your funnel without stitching together several different tools.

2. Dedicated Funnel Builders

These platforms are primarily designed to build conversion-focused funnels, but they don’t necessarily try to replace your entire marketing stack.

They tend to focus more on the funnel experience while integrating with external tools for email marketing, CRM, or other backend functions.

Examples include Funnelish, OptimizePress, and CartFlows.

I’d choose this type of platform when the funnel-building experience itself matters more than having everything under one roof.

3. Checkout Platforms

Checkout platforms primarily handle the transaction and conversion stage of a funnel.

They may support order bumps, upsells, downsells, subscriptions, affiliate management, and basic funnel flows, but their main job is processing and increasing the value of a sale rather than building the entire customer journey.

Examples include ThriveCart and SamCart.

They’re useful funnel tools, but I wouldn’t put them in exactly the same category as ClickFunnels or Systeme.io.

4. Course & Learning Platforms

These platforms are primarily built to create, sell, and deliver courses, memberships, coaching, or other digital products.

They can include landing pages, checkout, email automation, and funnel-style customer journeys, but the core product is the learning or membership platform.

Examples include Kajabi, Thinkific, and LearnWorlds.

5. Email Marketing Platforms

Email marketing platforms were originally built for sending newsletters, marketing automation, and managing subscribers.

Over the years, many of them have expanded far beyond email marketing.

Today, platforms like GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, and Kit also include landing pages, simple sales funnels, websites, webinars, forms, and other marketing tools.

While some of them can certainly be used to build sales funnels, I still wouldn’t classify them as true sales funnel builders.

Examples include GetResponse, Kit, and MailerLite.

6. Landing Page Builders

Landing page builders focus primarily on creating individual conversion-focused pages.

Tools such as Leadpages, Unbounce, and Instapage can be used as part of a sales funnel, but a landing page isn’t the same thing as an entire funnel.

You’ll normally need additional software for checkout, email automation, CRM, upsells, or other stages of the customer journey.

7. Quiz Builders

Quiz builders are designed primarily for lead qualification, segmentation, surveys, and interactive experiences.

Examples include Involve.me and Outgrow.

They can play an important role at the top of a sales funnel, but they’re usually one component of the funnel rather than the system managing the entire journey.

Why This Classification Is So Important

This is why I don’t think it’s useful to compare every tool with a landing-page editor under the same “best sales funnel builder” label.

ClickFunnels, ThriveCart, Kajabi, Unbounce, and Typeform can all be used inside a sales funnel, but they aren’t the same type of software.

For the main comparison below, I give the most weight to full-funnel platforms and dedicated funnel builders, because building multi-step sales funnels is a core part of what those products are designed to do.

I still include other types of funnel software where they’re genuinely the better choice for a particular business or use case.

How I Classify Funnel Software

To make the differences easier to understand, I’ve grouped these platforms into the categories I believe they really belong to.

Category Primary Purpose Best For Examples
Full Funnel Platforms Managing most or all of the sales funnel from one platform, including pages, checkout, email, automation, and customer management. Businesses that want an all-in-one funnel and marketing platform. ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Kartra, Perspective Funnels, Convertri
Dedicated Funnel Builders Building conversion-focused, multi-step funnels while integrating with other tools for parts of the marketing stack. Marketers who prioritise the funnel-building experience and don’t need everything under one roof. Funnelish, CartFlows, OptimizePress
Checkout Platforms Managing checkout, payments, order bumps, upsells, downsells, and increasing average order value. Businesses that already have traffic and marketing tools but need a conversion-focused checkout system. ThriveCart, SamCart
Course & Learning Platforms Creating, selling, and delivering courses, memberships, coaching programs, and other digital products. Course creators, coaches, and membership businesses. Kajabi, Thinkific, LearnWorlds
Email Marketing Platforms Email marketing, automation, subscriber management, and customer communication, with some funnel-building features. Businesses where email marketing and automation are the core requirement. GetResponse, Kit, MailerLite
Landing Page Builders Creating standalone landing pages for lead generation and conversion campaigns. Businesses that need high-converting pages but don’t need a complete funnel platform. Leadpages, Unbounce, Instapage
Quiz Builders Creating interactive quizzes, assessments, and forms for lead generation, qualification, and segmentation. Businesses using interactive content to capture or qualify leads. Involve.me, Outgrow

The key distinction is what role the software is primarily designed to play in the customer journey.

A platform can have features that overlap several categories, but I classify it based on its core purpose and how I’d actually use it when building a sales funnel.

How to Find the Right Funnel Builder in 3 Easy Steps

Now that we’ve separated these platforms into different categories, choosing the right funnel builder becomes much easier.

You don’t need to compare every platform on the market.

Instead, I’d narrow down the options in three simple steps:

  1. Choose the type of funnel software you need.
  2. Decide what you want to build.
  3. Set your budget.

Once you’ve done that, your list of options becomes much smaller.

Let’s go through each one.

Step 1. Choose the Type of Funnel Software

The first thing I’d do is narrow down what type of software I actually need.

There’s no point comparing a checkout platform with an all-in-one funnel platform if what I really need is email marketing, CRM, courses, and sales funnels in one place.

The same goes the other way around.

If all I need is a better checkout for selling my products, paying for a much larger platform may not make much sense.

So I’d start here:

If you… Start by looking at…
Want one platform to run your entire business Full Funnel Platforms
Already have a website and just need funnels Dedicated Funnel Builders and Full Funnel Platforms
Mainly want a better checkout experience Checkout Platforms
Sell online courses or memberships Course & Learning Platforms and Full Funnel Platforms
Focus primarily on email marketing Email Marketing Platforms
Only need landing pages Landing Page Builders
Generate leads through quizzes Quiz Builders

For example, if you want an all-in-one platform that can handle your funnels, email marketing, CRM, automations, memberships, and more, you’ll probably be happiest with a full funnel platform like ClickFunnels or Systeme.io.

If you already have a website and just need a better way to build funnels, a dedicated funnel builder such as OptimizePress or CartFlows may be a better fit.

On the other hand, if your top priority is increasing checkout conversions, you probably don’t need a full-fledged funnel platform at all.

A checkout platform like ThriveCart or SamCart may be exactly what you’re looking for.

The same applies to Course & Learning Platforms, Email Marketing Platforms, Landing Page Builders, and Quiz Builders.

Choosing the right category first will eliminate many platforms that were never designed to solve your problem.

Step 2. Decide What You Want to Build

Once you’ve narrowed it down to the right type of software, the next question would be:

What exactly are you trying to create?

The platform I’d recommend for building an email list isn’t always the same one I’d choose for selling online courses, running an agency, or growing an affiliate business.

That’s why it’s worth starting with your end goal.

Here’s where I’d recommend starting.

If you want to… Start by looking at…
Sell digital products ClickFunnels, ThriveCart, Systeme.io, SamCart, Perspective Funnels
Sell online courses ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Kajabi
Create membership sites ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Kajabi
Grow an affiliate marketing business ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, Perspective Funnels
Generate leads for local businesses GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels
Run a coaching or consulting business ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel
Build an agency GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels
Sell physical products Funnelish, ClickFunnels

Step 3. Choose Your Budget

Finally, decide how much you’re comfortable investing.

There’s no point paying hundreds of dollars every month for features you’ll never use.

At the same time, choosing the cheapest platform isn’t always the smartest decision if it limits your growth or forces you to migrate later.

Personally, I like thinking about funnel software in a few simple budget ranges.

Monthly Budget Start by looking at…
Free Systeme.io
Under $50/month Systeme.ioGetResponse, CartFlows, OptimizePress
$50-$100/month ClickFunnels, Perspective Funnels, Convertri, SamCart
$100-$200/month ClickFunnels, Kartra
$200+/month ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel
Prefer lifetime pricing ThriveCart

If one platform helps you generate significantly more leads or sales, paying a little more each month can easily be worth it.

On the other hand, if you’re just getting started, there’s usually no reason to pay for enterprise-level features you’ll never use.

Once you’ve answered these three questions, you’ll have a much shorter list of platforms to consider.

My Reviews of the Platforms I’ve Used

Now let’s take a closer look at each platform.

I’ve personally used or tested every funnel builder on this list, although I’ve obviously spent much more time with some than others.

So instead of simply going through their feature lists, I’ll focus mostly on what I liked, what I didn’t like, where I think each platform works best, and who I would actually recommend it to.

I’ll also point out any limitations, additional costs, or other things I think you should know before choosing one.

1. ClickFunnels

I’ve been using ClickFunnels since 2017, and it’s still the sales funnel builder I use the most today.

ClickFunnels Sales Funnel Builder

Over the years, I’ve built more than 100 sales funnels with ClickFunnels, actively promoted it as an affiliate, generated over $1 million in affiliate commissions, and helped ClickFunnels generate more than $2 million in revenue.

I also earned the ClickFunnels Dream Car Award after referring more than 200 active members to the platform.

Marius Kiniulis - Dream Car Winner

I’ve worked with quite a few other funnel builders over the years, but ClickFunnels is still the one I like the most.

Even today, if I were starting a new online business from scratch, ClickFunnels would still be my first choice.

What Stands Out The flexibility of the funnel builder.
Biggest Drawback There is a learning curve, especially for beginners.
Would I Recommend It? Yes. It’s still my first choice if I’m building a new business today.

What I Like Most

If there’s one reason why I still use ClickFunnels after all these years, it’s the funnel builder.

ClickFunnels Funnel Builder Dashboard

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you understand how it works, there’s very little you can’t build.

I’ve built everything from simple lead generation funnels to webinar funnels, memberships, product launches, and more complex sales funnels with upsells, downsells, automations, and conditional logic.

ClickFunnels My Created Funnels

And if you ever run into a limitation, there’s a good chance you can solve it using custom code (don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to code – AI can always help with that).

ClickFunnels Custom Code Editor

Another thing I’ve always liked about this tool is how easy it is to connect a custom domain.

ClickFunnels Automatic Domain Connect

On most platforms, you need to manually configure DNS records, CNAME records, and other settings.

Meanwhile, in ClickFunnels, you just need to connect your domain registrar, approve the connection, and ClickFunnels takes care of the rest.

ClickFunnels Successfully Connected Domain

It’s one of those small things that saves a surprising amount of time.

Finally, I think ClickFunnels deserves more credit for ecommerce than it usually gets.

Most people associate it with selling digital products or online courses, but it’s also a surprisingly good choice if you sell physical products.

ClickFunnels Store Feature Dashboard

You get all the funnel features you’d expect, plus integrations with shipping providers, accounting software, CRMs, and plenty of other ecommerce tools.

What I Don’t Like

The biggest downside for me has always been the advanced membership site builder.

ClickFunnels Markinblog Course Dashboard

It’s incredibly flexible and lets you build amazingly beautiful membership sites like this one:

Course Built by ClickFunnels Example

But it definitely takes time to learn.

ClickFunnels Membership Site Builder Dashboard Example

Fortunately, ClickFunnels now also offers a much simpler membership site builder.

Simple ClickFunnels Course Dashboard

It doesn’t have quite as many advanced options, but for most creators it’s much easier to use and will do everything they need.

Apart from that, I think the biggest challenge for new users is the learning curve.

ClickFunnels can do a lot, so it naturally takes longer to learn than simpler funnel builders.

ClickFunnels Is a Great Choice If…

  • Want to build complete sales funnels rather than just landing pages.
  • Sell digital products, coaching, consulting, or memberships.
  • Want to maximize conversions with features like order bumps and one-click upsells.
  • Need an all-in-one platform instead of stitching together multiple tools.
  • Plan to grow your business over the long term.
  • Don’t mind spending a little time learning the platform.

ClickFunnels Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Have a very limited budget.
  • Only need a simple landing page builder.
  • Aren’t planning to use advanced funnel features.
  • Want a platform that’s extremely easy to learn from day one.

If your budget is tight, I’d probably recommend starting with Systeme.io instead.

You’ll get many of the same core funnel-building capabilities at a much lower monthly cost.

Pricing

ClickFunnels currently offers four pricing plans.

Plan Price
Launch $97/month
Scale $197/month
Optimize $297/month
Dominate $5,997/year

I think the Launch plan is the best place to start.

ClickFunnels Pricing Plans Table

It includes everything you need to build high-converting sales funnels, accept payments, collect leads, and start growing your business.

I don’t think there’s much reason to pay for a higher plan until you actually need the extra limits.

As your business grows, upgrading is very easy, so I wouldn’t worry too much about choosing the “perfect” plan from day one.

Current Offers

At the time of writing, ClickFunnels offers three ways to get started:

  • 30-Day Free Trial – A good option if you simply want to test the platform before paying.
  • 3 Months for $99 – In my opinion, this is the best offer for most new users. You get 3 months of the Scale plan for a one-time payment of just $99.
  • ClickFunnels Lifetime Deal – Available through the Funnel Builder Certification. Besides the training itself, you also get lifetime access to ClickFunnels. If you already know ClickFunnels is the platform you’ll be using long-term, I think this offers by far the best value.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

No, ClickFunnels doesn’t have any hidden costs.

Like any online business platform, you’ll still need to pay standard payment processing fees if you’re using Stripe or another payment gateway, and you may decide to use third-party tools depending on your business.

But there aren’t any surprise platform fees that suddenly appear after you’ve signed up.

My Verdict

After almost 10 years of using ClickFunnels, I still haven’t found another platform I’d rather use to build my funnels.

Sure, there are cheaper alternatives. There are also platforms that are easier to learn.

But if someone asked me today which funnel builder I’d use to build a serious online business, my answer would still be ClickFunnels.

That’s exactly why it’s still the platform I use myself.

ClickFunnels - Best Sales Funnel Builder Tool

2. Systeme.io

Systeme.io Funnel Builder Dashboard

I first came across Systeme.io when Aurelien Amacker, the platform’s founder, invited me to test it and, if I liked it, to promote it as an affiliate.

An Email from Aurelian Amacker Inviting to Try Systeme.io

To be completely honest, I didn’t expect much from this tool.

At the time, the platform looked very simple, and compared to ClickFunnels, it seemed much more basic.

But I decided to give it a try anyway.

And after spending some time with it, I have to admit it completely changed my first impression.

Considering how much it costs, I honestly don’t think there’s another funnel builder that offers better value for the money.

Even more impressive is how quickly the platform keeps improving.

New features are released regularly, and Systeme.io has evolved into a much more capable platform than it was when I first started using it.

Systeme.io New Feature Alerts

While ClickFunnels is still my primary funnel builder, Systeme.io is the platform I recommend most often.

For many people, it’s simply the smarter choice.

Biggest Drawback The funnel builder isn’t as flexible as ClickFunnels for more advanced projects.
Would I Recommend It? Absolutely. In fact, it’s the platform I recommend to most beginners.

What I Like Most

The biggest strength of Systeme.io is how simple it is to use.

Just look at how clearly, simply, and understandably the Systeme.io funnel builder is laid out.

Systeme.io Funnel Builder User Interface Dashboard Example

Everything feels very intuitive.

You don’t need to spend much time figuring out where settings are hidden or how different parts of the platform work. It’s all laid out in a way that just makes sense.

Meanwhile, their page builder is simple, clear, and easy to understand.

Systeme.io Page Builder Dashboard

I also like how lightweight the platform feels.

Compared to many all-in-one platforms, Systeme.io is much easier to learn, which makes it a great choice if you’re building your first sales funnel.

And then there’s the price.

Systeme.io Pricing Plans

Considering everything you get, including funnels, email marketing, automation, courses, memberships, blogging, and affiliate management, I think it’s one of the best values currently available.

What I Don’t Like

If there’s one area where I’d still give ClickFunnels the edge, it’s the page builder.

Systeme.io is very easy to use, but it isn’t quite as flexible.

For most businesses, that won’t matter.

But if you’re building more advanced funnels or want complete control over the design, you’ll probably notice the limitations sooner or later.

That’s really my biggest criticism.

However, most people probably will never run into those limits, so this shouldn’t be a big problem.

Systeme.io Is a Great Choice If…

  • Are building your first sales funnels.
  • Want the best value for your money.
  • Have a limited budget.
  • Sell digital products, online courses, memberships, or coaching.
  • Build affiliate marketing funnels.
  • Want an easy-to-use all-in-one platform.

Systeme.io Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Need maximum flexibility when designing funnels.
  • Plan to build highly customised sales funnels.
  • Run a larger ecommerce business with lots of physical products.
  • Need features that are better suited to enterprise-level businesses.

Pricing & Current Offers

Systeme.io offers one of the most generous pricing structures on the market.

Plan Price
Free $0/month
Startup $17/month
Webinar $47/month
Unlimited $97/month

One thing I really like is that you can start completely free and only upgrade when your business actually needs it.

But even the paid plans are some of the lowest on the market, while the feature set they offer is almost indistinguishable from much more expensive tools.

For most people, I’d either recommend starting with the Free plan or going straight to the Startup plan if you want to start using this tool.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

No.

One thing I like about Systeme.io is that pricing is very straightforward.

There are no transaction fees, no expensive add-ons that suddenly become necessary, and no surprises once you’ve signed up.

My Verdict

If someone completely new to sales funnels asked me which platform they should start with, I’d recommend Systeme.io 9 times out of 10.

It’s affordable, easy to learn, and includes almost everything most businesses need.

Personally, I still prefer ClickFunnels for larger or more advanced projects because it offers greater flexibility.

But if you’re just getting started or simply want the best value for your money, I think Systeme.io is one of the easiest recommendations I can make.

3. GoHighLevel

I spent the most time using GoHighLevel around the ClickFunnels 2.0 launch.

GoHighLevel Funnel Builder Dashboard

At the time, ClickFunnels was still dealing with bugs and stability issues, while GoHighLevel was growing at an incredible pace and attracting many former ClickFunnels users.

Naturally, I wanted to see what all the hype was about.

After spending quite a bit of time testing the platform, I completely understood why so many agencies were switching.

It’s hard not to be impressed by how much functionality GoHighLevel includes.

GoHighLevel Functionality

That said, it never really clicked for me.

I found the platform much harder to learn than ClickFunnels, and I never became a fan of its funnel builder or the overall setup process.

Eventually, ClickFunnels fixed most of the issues with version 2.0, and I switched back.

Even today, ClickFunnels is still my preferred platform.

But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend GoHighLevel.

For the right type of people, I think it’s one of the best options available.

GoHighLevel at a Glance

Category My Take
Best For Agencies, marketers managing multiple clients, and businesses that need a powerful CRM.
Starting Price From $97/month
Personally Using Since 2022
What Stands Out One of the most complete all-in-one platforms on the market with an impressive AI Funnel Builder.
Biggest Drawback Steeper learning curve than most funnel builders.
Would I Recommend It? Yes, but mainly for agencies and advanced users.

What I Like Most

What surprised me most was how many features GoHighLevel offers.

This is a true all-in-one platform with practically every major feature you could need, and most of them are implemented well.

However, keep in mind that it also takes time to learn and master everything.

Another interesting thing I really liked is their new AI Funnel Builder, which lets you create pages, funnels, and websites in a way that reminds me of Lovable.

The output quality is still behind Lovable, but I think it’s a promising start.

Here’s what my funnel looks like, created with their AI funnel builder:

GoHighLevel Funnel Built With AI

As you can see, instead of manually building every page, you just describe what you want, and the AI generates the entire funnel for you.

You can then continue editing everything either through prompts or with the visual page builder.

If you’re running an agency, it’s easy to see how much time this can save.

Building websites and funnels for clients becomes significantly faster, which means you can take on more projects without increasing your workload.

What I Don’t Like

The biggest strength of GoHighLevel is also its biggest weakness.

It tries to do everything.

While that’s great once everything is set up properly, getting there takes a lot of time.

When I first logged into GoHighLevel, it reminded me a bit of sitting in the cockpit of a Boeing.

There are buttons, settings, and menus everywhere.

Everything has a purpose, but figuring out how all the different tools connect together takes a lot of time.

Even though I already had years of experience building funnels, I still spent a lot of time reading documentation just to understand how certain features worked.

I wasn’t a huge fan of their manual funnel builder either.

GoHighLevel Page Builder Dashboard

There’s nothing wrong with it. I just enjoy building funnels in ClickFunnels much more.

Support was another area where my experience was mixed.

Their sales team was always responsive, but when it came to more technical questions, it often felt like even the support team needed extra time to figure things out.

GoHighLevel Is a Great Choice If…

  • Run a marketing agency or web design agency.
  • Build funnels or websites for multiple clients.
  • Need a powerful CRM without relying on third-party tools.
  • Want to offer white-label software under your own brand.
  • Plan to automate as much of your business as possible.

GoHighLevel Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Want the easiest platform to learn.
  • Mainly build funnels for your own business.
  • Sell digital products, coaching, memberships, or physical products.
  • Care a lot about design flexibility and the overall page-building experience.
  • Don’t want to spend weeks learning a new platform.

Pricing

GoHighLevel currently offers three pricing plans.

Plan Price
Starter $97/month
Unlimited $297/month
SaaS Pro $497/month

If you’re running an agency, the Unlimited plan will probably be the one you’ll end up using, while the SaaS Pro plan is designed for businesses that want to resell GoHighLevel under their own brand.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

Not exactly.

Some services are usage-based. Email sending, SMS, phone calls, and certain AI features can add extra costs on top of your subscription.

For example, HighLevel currently charges $0.675 per 1,000 emails sent through its LC Email system.

I wouldn’t call these hidden costs, but they’re definitely something you should factor into your budget.

My Verdict

I completely understand why GoHighLevel has become so popular.

It’s one of the most powerful all-in-one platforms on the market, especially for agencies.

However, I still prefer ClickFunnels because I find it easier to use, I like the funnel builder more, and I think it’s simply a better fit for the way I build funnels.

That said, if you’re running an agency or have tried ClickFunnels and feel it’s not quite the right fit, GoHighLevel would probably be the first platform I’d look at.

4. Perspective Funnels

I discovered Perspective Funnels around mid-2025.

Perspective Funnels Funnel Builder Dashboard

It caught my attention because of its unique design and mobile-first approach.

Perspective Funnels Mobile First Approach

After spending some time testing it, I have to admit I was genuinely impressed.

Perspective feels very different from most traditional funnel builders.

Perspective Funnels User Interface

The interface is clean, the user experience is excellent, and everything feels incredibly simple to use.

You can tell the team has spent a lot of time thinking about the small details that make building funnels easier.

I also think Perspective has one of the best-looking funnel builders on the market today.

Perspective Funnels Funnel Editor

The templates, animations, spacing, and overall design quality are excellent straight out of the box.

That said, I don’t see Perspective as a direct competitor to ClickFunnels or Systeme.io.

Rather than trying to become another all-in-one business platform, Perspective focuses on building beautiful mobile-first funnels as quickly and easily as possible.

And I think that’s exactly where it stands out.

Perspective Funnels at a Glance

Category My Take
Best For Building beautiful mobile-first lead generation funnels
Starting Price From $59/month
Personally Using Since 2025
What Stands Out One of the easiest and best-designed funnel builders I’ve used.
Biggest Drawback Not an all-in-one platform and lacks some advanced funnel features.
Would I Recommend It? Yes. Especially if your main focus is lead generation and mobile traffic.

What I Like Most

What I like the most is how easy Perspective is to use.

I never had to spend time figuring out where things were or how they worked.

Everything just felt natural from the beginning.

Compared to most funnel builders I’ve used, Perspective feels faster, cleaner, and easier to work with.

The other thing I really like is their mobile-first approach.

Perspective Funnels Mobile First Funnel Builder

Today, a large percentage of traffic comes from mobile devices, yet most funnel builders are still designed for desktop first.

Perspective takes the opposite approach, and I think it shows.

The funnels look great on mobile, and the whole experience feels much more natural.

Another thing that impressed me is how much attention they pay to design.

The templates look modern straight out of the box, and the team clearly pays attention to the small details.

Perspective Funnels Templates Section

Animations, spacing, typography, and transitions all feel much more refined than what you’ll find in many other funnel builders.

I also really like their quiz builder.

In fact, I think this is one of the areas where Perspective really stands out.

Quiz Funnel Editor in Perspective Funnels

And the best part is that they recently integrated Claude MCP, which lets you generate funnels automatically.

Here is an example of a quiz funnel Perspective Funnels created for me with the help of Claude MCP:

Perspective Funnel Quiz Funnel Example Built With Claude MCP

What I Don’t Like

The biggest limitation is that Perspective isn’t an all-in-one platform.

Depending on what you want to build, that may or may not matter.

For example, it doesn’t include a built-in course platform or membership site builder like ClickFunnels or Systeme.io.

It also doesn’t offer the same level of flexibility when it comes to one-click upsells, downsells, and more advanced ecommerce funnel logic.

The funnel builder itself is also a little less flexible than ClickFunnels.

For most people, that probably won’t be a problem, but if you’re building larger or more complex funnel projects, you’ll probably reach its limits sooner.

Perspective Funnels Is a Great Choice If…

  • Want beautiful mobile-first funnels.
  • Build quiz funnels.
  • Focus mainly on lead generation.
  • Want one of the easiest funnel builders to learn.
  • Care about modern design and user experience.

Perspective Funnels Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Want an all-in-one platform.
  • Plan to sell online courses or build membership sites.
  • Need advanced upsell, downsell, and ecommerce features.
  • Want maximum flexibility when building complex funnels.

Pricing

Perspective currently offers four pricing plans.

Plan Price
Launch $59/month
Grow $184/month
Scale $369/month
Enterprise Custom

What I really like about their pricing is that you don’t always need to upgrade to the next plan.

Unlike most funnel builders, Perspective also lets you customize lower-tier plans by purchasing additional funnels, seats, and add-ons separately, rather than forcing you to upgrade immediately.

Perspective Funnel Pricing Plan Personalization And Customization

Once you move to the higher plans, many of these extras are already included.

Quite a clever decision, because it lets you customize your subscription instead of paying for features you don’t need yet.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

No.

Perspective’s pricing is straightforward.

The only additional costs you may run into are for things like extra funnels, additional team seats, or other optional features.

Since these are optional, you only pay for them if you actually need them.

My Verdict

Perspective knows exactly what it’s trying to be, and that’s exactly why I like them so much.

It doesn’t try to compete with ClickFunnels feature-for-feature.

Instead, it focuses on building beautiful mobile-first funnels as quickly as possible, and it does that really well.

As for me, I’d still choose ClickFunnels for larger or more advanced projects.

But if I wanted to build a simple, modern-looking lead generation funnel, Perspective would definitely be one of the first platforms I’d consider.

5. Funnelish

I first discovered Funnelish around 2021.

Funnelish Funnel Builder Dashboard

Back then, ClickFunnels Classic was still the dominant funnel builder, but ecommerce wasn’t one of its biggest strengths.

Funnelish worked as an ecommerce integration for ClickFunnels and as a sales funnel integration for Shopify.

It wasn’t trying to replace ClickFunnels. Instead, it positioned itself as a complementary platform for businesses selling physical products.

That strategy worked well for several years.

Then ClickFunnels 2.0 launched, introduced Store Funnels, and started targeting e-commerce much more aggressively.

Funnelish responded by doubling down on e-commerce and Shopify rather than trying to become another all-in-one platform.

I recently revisited the platform while working on this article, and it’s clear they’ve continued improving it.

Today, Funnelish is still heavily focused on e-commerce funnels, and I think that’s where it performs best.

Funnelish at a Glance

Category My Take
Best For Ecommerce funnel builders and Shopify store owners.
Starting Price From $49/month
Personally Using Since 2021
What Stands Out Built specifically for high-converting ecommerce funnels.
Biggest Drawback The page builder still feels a little dated compared to newer competitors.
Would I Recommend It? Yes, but mainly if your business revolves around ecommerce.

What I Like Most

What I like most about Funnelish is that it doesn’t try to be everything for everyone.

The platform has a very clear focus: ecommerce funnels.

Instead of adding courses, memberships, CRM features, and dozens of unrelated tools, Funnelish focuses on helping ecommerce businesses build better product funnels.

Funnelish Dashboard

After revisiting the platform, I also think they’ve improved it a lot since I first tested it.

What impressed me most after revisiting Funnelish is how much deeper the ecommerce functionality has become.

It’s clear the team has stayed focused on solving ecommerce-specific problems instead of trying to build another general-purpose funnel builder.

If you’re already running a Shopify store, Funnelish might also be a great addition, as the integration between the two platforms is one of its biggest strengths.

What I Don’t Like

The biggest drawback for me is still the page builder.

It works, but compared to platforms like ClickFunnels, it feels a bit dated.

Funnelish Page Builder Dashboard

While testing Funnelish recently, I also encountered a few issues while previewing some of the templates.

Some previews didn’t display correctly, and my security software even flagged a couple of template previews.

I’m not sure whether that was caused by Funnelish itself or something on my computer, so I wouldn’t treat it as a major criticism, but it wasn’t the smoothest experience.

Funnelish Is a Great Choice If…

  • Sell physical products.
  • Build ecommerce funnels.
  • Already use Shopify.
  • Want a platform built specifically for ecommerce rather than general marketing.

Funnelish Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Need an all-in-one business platform.
  • Sell online courses, coaching, or memberships.
  • Want maximum flexibility for different types of funnels.
  • Build funnels for multiple business models.

Pricing

Funnelish currently offers three pricing plans.

Plan Price
Basic $49/month
Pro $99/month
Advanced $249/month

Unlike most all-in-one platforms, Funnelish pricing is based almost entirely around ecommerce needs, with the higher plans increasing limits and unlocking additional features for growing businesses.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

No.

Funnelish has straightforward pricing, with no unexpected platform fees.

As with any ecommerce platform, you’ll still need to pay the usual payment processing fees and any third-party services you choose to integrate.

My Verdict

I like that Funnelish knows exactly who it’s built for.

It doesn’t try to compete with ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, or Systeme.io across every category.

Instead, it focuses on helping ecommerce businesses build higher-converting funnels, and that’s where I think it delivers the most value.

For my own business, ClickFunnels still makes more sense, but I still think Funnelish is a very good option for the right type of ecommerce business.

6. Kartra

I first started using Kartra around 2021.

Kartra Funnel Builder Dashboard

At the time, it was one of the most exciting all-in-one platforms on the market.

Webinars were incredibly popular, and Kartra had a clear advantage.

Since it’s built by the same team behind WebinarJam and EverWebinar, webinar integration felt much more polished than most competing platforms.

Kartra also introduced several features that many competitors didn’t have at the time, including built-in video hosting with video marketing tools, an integrated help desk, and agency features.

That’s exactly why Kartra caught my attention.

However, after spending some time using the platform, my opinion became a bit more mixed.

I liked the overall idea behind Kartra, but I never really enjoyed using it.

The page builder felt outdated and very limited compared to other platforms, and I often found it harder than it should have been to achieve the design I wanted.

Kartra Page Builder Dashboard

Over the following years, competitors like ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel kept releasing new features at a much faster pace, while Kartra’s development seemed to slow down.

Today, I’d still choose ClickFunnels over Kartra for almost every new project.

Kartra at a Glance

Category My Take
Best For Webinar-based businesses and users looking for an all-in-one platform.
Starting Price From $59/month
Personally Using Since 2021
What Stands Out Excellent webinar integration and several unique built-in business tools.
Biggest Drawback The platform feels more outdated than many of its competitors.
Would I Recommend It? Yes, but only in certain situations.

What I Like Most

What impressed me most was how many built-in tools Kartra offered.

Back when I first tested it, it offered several tools that were ahead of the competition.

The built-in video marketing platform was one of them.

Another feature I really liked was the integrated Help Desk.

Kartra Helpdesks Dashboard

Very few funnel builders offered anything similar at the time, and it was a nice addition if you wanted to manage customer support without relying on third-party software.

I also liked how well Kartra worked with WebinarJam and EverWebinar.

By the way, if webinars are a major part of your business, it’s still one of the smoother ecosystems available.

Kartra was also one of the first platforms I remember offering built-in agency features.

What I Don’t Like

The biggest issue for me has always been the page builder.

I never really enjoyed using it.

Compared to ClickFunnels, it felt more complicated than it needed to be, and I often found it difficult to achieve the designs I wanted.

I also ran into situations where certain features didn’t behave the way I expected.

For example, I spent more time than I should have trying to understand how parts of the email marketing system worked.

None of these issues were major on their own, but together they made the platform less enjoyable to use.

Another problem is that many of Kartra’s biggest advantages aren’t as unique as they once were.

Features that once made Kartra stand out are now available in several competing platforms, many of which have continued to evolve much faster.

Kartra Is a Great Choice If…

  • Run a webinar-focused business.
  • Already use WebinarJam or EverWebinar.
  • Want an all-in-one platform with built-in video hosting and a help desk.
  • Have tried ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel but neither felt like the right fit.

Kartra Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Want the most modern page builder.
  • Care about design flexibility.
  • Want the fastest-evolving platform.
  • Build more advanced sales funnels.
  • Sell physical products.

In those situations, I’d still choose ClickFunnels.

Pricing

Kartra currently offers threee main pricing plans.

Plan Price
Essentials $59/month
Starter $119/month
Growth $229/month

Kartra also offers annual billing with a discount, so if you’re planning to use it long-term, paying yearly can save a decent amount compared to the monthly plans.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

No.

Kartra’s pricing is straightforward, and most of the features are included in your subscription.

The only thing I’d recommend paying attention to is the limits on contacts, emails, and other resources included with each plan.

My Verdict

I still think Kartra is a good platform.

The problem is that the competition has moved much faster.

When I first tested Kartra, it felt like one of the most innovative all-in-one platforms available.

Today, many of the features that made it stand out are no longer unique.

If I were choosing a platform today, Kartra probably wouldn’t be my first choice.

But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad platform.

I still think it’s a solid option for webinar-based businesses and people who just don’t feel at home with either ClickFunnels or GoHighLevel.

7. Convertri

The first time I used Convertri was around 2020.

Convertri Funnel Builder Dashboard

There wasn’t any particular reason behind it. I just wanted to see what the platform had to offer.

What stood out for me was how simple everything felt.

On one hand, I really liked how simple it was.

The interface is clean, everything is easy to find, and even if you’ve never built a funnel before, you probably won’t have much trouble getting started.

On the other hand, the platform already felt a little outdated to me back then.

Looking at it today, that feeling hasn’t really changed.

Today, most funnel builders include things like email marketing, automations, and other built-in business tools.

Convertri still feels much closer to a landing page builder with sales funnel functionality added on top.

So it never became a platform I wanted to keep using.

It’s still a decent option for someone who values simplicity above everything else.

Convertri at a Glance

Category My Take
Best For Simple landing pages and basic sales funnels.
Starting Price From $99/month
Personally Using Since 2020
What Stands Out Very easy to learn and use.
Biggest Drawback Feels outdated and lacks many features that are now standard.
Would I Recommend It? Only for very simple funnel projects.

What I Like Most

The biggest advantage of Convertri is its simplicity.

The interface is easy to understand, the builder doesn’t overwhelm you with options, and you can start building pages almost immediately.

Convertri Main Dashboard

If you’ve never used a funnel builder before, that’s definitely a plus.

I also like how little time it takes to learn the platform.

Everything is laid out logically, so you rarely spend time wondering where different settings are located.

What I Don’t Like

The biggest problem for me is that the platform feels stuck in another era.

The page builder works, but compared to platforms like ClickFunnels or even Perspective, it feels very dated.

Convertri Page Builder Dashboard

Using it today feels like going back several years.

The templates also didn’t leave much of an impression on me.

Convertri Funnel Templates Dashboard

Most of them look fairly generic, and I didn’t see many modern design ideas that made me think, “I’d love to build my funnel here.”

The other thing I really miss is built-in email marketing.

Today, I consider those features standard for almost any serious funnel builder.

Without them, you’ll almost certainly need additional tools, which makes the platform much less attractive.

Convertri Is a Great Choice If…

  • Want a very simple funnel builder.
  • Mainly build landing pages or basic sales funnels.
  • Don’t need built-in email marketing.
  • Prefer simplicity over advanced functionality.

Convertri Isn’t the Best Choice If…

  • Build more advanced sales funnels.
  • Sell high-ticket products.
  • Want an all-in-one platform.
  • Need built-in email marketing and automations.
  • Care about modern templates and design flexibility.

Pricing

Convertri currently offers three pricing plans.

Plan Price
Convert $99/month
Scale $199/month
Maximize $299/month

The main difference between the plans is the limits and the number of websites, funnels, and team members you can have.

Are There Any Hidden Costs?

Not really.

However, because Convertri doesn’t include built-in email marketing or automation, you’ll probably need additional tools, which increases the overall cost.

My Verdict

If I were choosing a funnel builder today, Convertri probably wouldn’t make my shortlist because there are better alternatives in almost every category.

Because there are simply better alternatives in almost every category.

If you want something simple, it’s worth a look.

Otherwise, I’d probably recommend ClickFunnels or Systeme.io instead.

Other Platforms Worth Considering

While reading this article, you might have wondered: why didn’t I include platforms like ThriveCart, SamCart, Leadpages, OptimizePress, etc.?

And the answer is very simple:

As I mentioned earlier in this article, some of these tools may have some sales funnel builder features, but they are not full-fledged sales funnel builders.

Or they are simply very niche products.

For example, I wouldn’t compare ThriveCart with ClickFunnels.

ThriveCart is one of my favorite checkout platforms, but it was never designed to replace a complete funnel builder.

The same goes for SamCart.

If your biggest priority is optimizing your checkout, it’s definitely worth considering.

However, if you need landing pages, email marketing, memberships, automations, and everything else that comes with a modern funnel builder, I think you should consider another tool.

CartFlows is another example.

If you’re already using WooCommerce, CartFlows can be a really useful plugin to think about.

It lets you build checkout funnels, add order bumps, one-click upsells, and improve the entire buying experience in your WooCommerce store.

But as for me, I’d still rather use a dedicated funnel builder than build my entire funnel stack around WordPress.

The same applies to OptimizePress.

If you want to keep everything inside WordPress, it can be a good solution.

But you also have to deal with hosting, plugins, updates, security, and everything else that comes with managing a WordPress website.

However, if you already have a functioning WordPress website or WooCommerce store, these plugins can integrate very well into your existing tools and ecosystem.

Two Funnel Builders I Would Never Use

Now let’s talk a little about the negatives.

I’ve had the opportunity to use and test quite a few different sales funnel builders.

So far, I’ve focused on platforms that I think are at least worth considering.

But I also think it’s worth talking about the funnel builders I had the worst experiences with, so you can learn from my mistakes too.

Of all the sales funnel builders I’ve worked with, two stand out for the wrong reasons: Groove.cm and Builderall.

And now let’s talk about each of them separately.

1. Groove.cm

Groove.cm is probably my biggest disappointment in this entire industry.

The funny thing is that, at least at the very beginning, I really believed in them.

When they launched their lifetime deal, I bought it for $1,397, and I really thought they had a real chance of becoming one of the biggest ClickFunnels competitors.

Groove.cm Lifetime Subscription

Looking back, that turned out to be one of the worst software purchases I’ve ever made.

In fact, while updating this article, I logged in again to see what had changed.

And I have to say, they are still the same, or maybe even more disappointing.

I tried working with a few templates, and the same bad feeling came back.

Their page builder is terribly buggy.

Some elements didn’t work when I clicked on them, while others didn’t respond at all.

In short, that old feeling of disappointment hasn’t gone away.

Another problem is that working with them feels very fake and deceptive.

Especially with their marketing messages and fake countdown timers.

I understand that other funnel builders also do something similar, but they do it at least more subtly.

And here, having already seen their landing page messages, you can clearly read – you understand perfectly well that I’m lying to you, but I need your money, right?

Support was another painful part of the experience.

I remember waiting a long time for answers, and when I did get a reply, it often felt like the support team knew the software even less than I did.

Oh… And they constantly bombard you with promotional emails with various affiliate offers.

Groove.cm Promotional Emails

Finally, my experience with them ended when they stopped paying me the affiliate commissions I earned.

Unfortunately, I never received some of the commissions I earned (they just stopped paying me one day), and the support completely ignored me.

From that moment on, I decided I was done with them, and I haven’t even considered using them ever since.

And in this case, my advice would be – it’s better not to even waste your time with them. And save your money and nerves.

Quick update:

I noticed that Groove.cm is being sunset (which didn’t surprise me at all).

Groove.cm Becoming Scale.gg

And members with paid subscriptions (including lifetime members) are being moved to their new platform called Scale.gg.

I quickly went through their new platform, and visually I see a lot of similarities with the old one, but at the same time it feels more modern and more AI-oriented.

Scale.gg Platfom Dashboard

But knowing my bad experience with them, at least for now, I’m not going to invest any more of my time in them.

2. Builderall

My experience with Builderall was a little different than with Groove.cm.

In principle, Builderall wasn’t as bad as Groove.cm.

But I also had a hard time working with them.

The main problem was that Builderall tried to offer almost everything, and the quality of individual features suffered because of it.

It often felt like they were adding new features before properly polishing the ones they already had.

That’s why their software seemed so complicated.

Another thing is that they made major software updates very often (like Builderall 4.0, 5.0, etc.).

This meant that with each update, you practically had to learn how to use their platform all over again.

And most importantly, their pages loaded extremely slowly (at least it used to; I don’t know what the situation is right now).

So, while it was better to work with this software, it was very complicated to achieve good results with them.

Therefore, I don’t think I could recommend them either.

A Detailed Comparison of All These Platforms

One thing I’ve noticed while researching other “best funnel builder” articles is that most of them compare software using simple checklists.

However, even the same feature can vary greatly across each of these platforms.

And those dry comparisons don’t tell you what you actually get.

That’s why I wanted to compare these platforms a little differently.

Instead of just listing features, I wanted to show you what you get, how complete each platform really is, how pricing changes as your business grows, and which platform gives you the best overall value.

So let’s look at some comparisons.

1. What Do You Actually Get With Each Funnel Builder?

Here’s where I see the biggest problem:

Just because a few different platforms include the same feature doesn’t mean you’re getting the same thing.

Take email marketing as an example.

Almost every all-in-one funnel builder now claims to include email marketing.

But that can mean completely different things.

One platform might include visual automation workflows, advanced segmentation, A/B testing, detailed reporting, and everything you’d expect from a dedicated email marketing platform.

Another might only let you send basic email broadcasts with a few simple automations.

Technically, both platforms include email marketing.

And I don’t think using ✓ and ✗ checkmarks can show you the real picture.

That’s why I created this platform features comparison table for you, which should help you better understand their capabilities.

Business System ClickFunnels Systeme.io GoHighLevel Kartra Perspective Funnelish Convertri
Funnel Builder Excellent Very Good Very Good Good Excellent Good Basic
Website Builder Excellent Good Good Good
Checkout System Excellent Good Good Good Basic Excellent Good
Email Marketing Excellent Very Good Excellent Very Good Basic
Marketing Automation Excellent Very Good Excellent Very Good Basic
CRM Good Good Excellent Good Basic Basic
Memberships Excellent Good Excellent Good Good
Ecommerce Excellent Good Good Good Limited Excellent Limited
Blogging Excellent Good Excelent
Analytics Excellent Good Good Good Good Basic Basic
AI Features Good Very Good Excellent Limited Very Good Limited

So, as you can see, GoHighLevel probably has the highest overall feature coverage.

But it’s also the platform that took me the longest to learn.

ClickFunnels includes almost everything I personally need, while still feeling much easier to use on a daily basis.

Systeme.io was probably the biggest surprise.

Looking purely at what you get for the money, I don’t think there’s another platform that offers this much functionality at such a low price.

Perspective Funnels and Funnelish take a completely different approach.

Neither one is trying to become another all-in-one business platform.

Instead, they focus on solving a smaller number of problems really well, and I actually think that’s one of their biggest strengths.

Finally, there’s Convertri.

Looking at this comparison, it becomes much easier to understand why I no longer consider it a complete funnel builder.

It can still build pages.

But compared to the other platforms in this guide, it simply doesn’t replace enough of the software most businesses eventually end up needing.

2. How Much Will You Pay As Your Business Grows?

Another mistake I see people make all the time is comparing funnel builders based only on their monthly subscription price.

Unfortunately, that’s rarely what you’ll actually end up paying.

A platform might cost less on paper, but if you also need to pay for email marketing, automations, memberships, a checkout platform, or a CRM, the total cost can look very different.

On the other hand, a more expensive platform may replace several other tools you’re already paying for.

That’s why I think it’s much more useful to compare the real cost of running your business rather than just comparing monthly subscriptions.

Here’s how the total monthly cost can change once you factor in the extra tools you may need:

Platform Monthly Price Extra Tools You’ll Probably Need Estimated Total Cost
ClickFunnels $97 Almost none $97-$197
Systeme.io $17 Almost none $17-$97
GoHighLevel $97 Almost none $97-$297
Kartra $59 Few $59-$120
Perspective $59 Email platform, memberships, advanced automation $100-$250
Funnelish $49 Email platform, CRM, memberships $120-$300
Convertri $99 Email, CRM, memberships, automation $200-$400

As you can see, the lowest subscription price doesn’t always mean the lowest overall cost.

Convertri is a good example.

The subscription itself isn’t particularly expensive.

But once you add the software it doesn’t include, the total monthly cost can easily become one of the highest in this comparison.

Meanwhile, with Systeme.io, it’s the opposite.

For a platform that starts at just $17 per month, it replaces an incredible amount of software.

That’s one of the main reasons I recommend it so often to beginners.

ClickFunnels sits somewhere in the middle.

It isn’t the cheapest option upfront.

But if you’re planning to use most of the features it includes, there’s a good chance you’ll spend less than if you tried to build the same stack using multiple separate tools.

My Final Recommendation

If you’ve made it this far, you’ve probably realized there’s no such thing as the perfect funnel builder.

Every platform has its strengths.

Every platform also has its weaknesses.

The right choice ultimately depends on what you’re trying to build.

That said, if someone asked me today which platform I’d recommend, here’s what I’d say.

I’d Choose ClickFunnels If…

…I wanted one platform that could handle almost everything I might want to build in the future.

That’s one of the main reasons it’s still my number one choice today.

It’s the platform I use the most, and after working with almost all the major funnel builders, it’s still the one I’d choose in most situations.

I’ve built all kinds of funnels with ClickFunnels, and I’ve never really reached a point where I thought, “I can’t build this in ClickFunnels.”

That’s why I’ve stayed with it since 2017.

It’s not the cheapest option, and there is definitely a learning curve.

But for me, it’s still the platform I’d trust to build a long-term business.

ClickFunnels - Best Sales Funnel Builder Tool

I’d Choose Systeme.io If…

…I were starting my first online business or wanted to keep my software costs as low as possible.

For the price, I honestly don’t think anything else comes close.

It includes almost everything most businesses need, it’s easy to learn, and I think most beginners will get up and running much faster than they would with ClickFunnels.

The only time I’d skip Systeme.io is if I already knew I was going to need the extra flexibility that ClickFunnels offers.

Otherwise, I think it’s one of the smartest places to start.

Systeme.io Home Page

I’d Choose GoHighLevel If…

…I were running an agency or building funnels and websites for clients.

I still prefer ClickFunnels for my own projects, but agencies have very different needs.

Client accounts, white-labeling, CRM functionality, and the new AI Funnel Builder make much more sense in an agency environment.

I’d also look at GoHighLevel if I’d already tried ClickFunnels and felt it wasn’t the right fit for the way I work.

That’s where I think GoHighLevel has a clear advantage.

GoHighLevel Home Page

I’d Choose Perspective Funnels If…

…my main goal was generating leads through mobile-first funnels or quiz funnels.

I think they have one of the best user experiences of any funnel builder I’ve used.

The platform is very simple, the templates look just amazing, and everything feels very modern.

For simple lead generation funnels, especially when most of the traffic comes from mobile devices, I think Perspective is one of the best platforms available today.

Perspective Funnels Home Page

I’d Choose Funnelish If…

…my business was focused almost entirely on ecommerce.

I think they’ve done a great job building a platform designed for ecommerce funnels instead of trying to become another all-in-one platform.

That said, I’d still personally choose ClickFunnels because it gives me much more flexibility and lets me build almost any type of funnel I need.

But if I were already using Shopify and wanted to improve my product funnels, Funnelish would definitely be on my shortlist.

Funnelish Home Page

So… My Final Advice Would Be This

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this guide, it’s this.

Figure out exactly what you need, and try to choose the funnel builder that best meets your needs.

Then it will become the best sales funnel builder for you specifically.

Because what is the “best funnel builder” for someone else will not necessarily be the best for you.

I’ve used all of these platforms, and every single one has situations where I’d recommend it.

Take advantage of the free trials, build a simple funnel in two or three platforms, and see which one feels the most natural to you.

Take This 30-Second Quiz To Find The Right Funnel Builder

If you’ve narrowed it down to two or three platforms but still can’t decide, this sales funnel builder finder should help.

It asks five simple questions about your business, your budget, and what you’re planning to build.

Based on your answers, it’ll recommend the platform I’d personally choose in your situation.

It only takes about 20–30 seconds, but it should help you narrow down which funnel builder is the best fit for you.
