What is LeadPages?
LeadPages is a landing page and popups builder, dedicated to helping you collect email leads and increase conversions. With this software, you can easily build websites, landing pages, pop-ups, alert bars, and beyond.
With LeadPages you can:
- Create landing pages
- Set up email sign-up forms
- Get all the reports in the analytics
- Do A/B split testing
- And much more…
Everything that you’ll create with LeadPages will be mobile responsive so you won’t need to be afraid if it will function properly on mobile devices.
I first became aware of LeadPages when I saw it being used by Pat Flynn from SmartPassiveIncome.com.
So, I decided that I need to try it as well.
I’ve been using LeadPages for few years on various projects and found it really useful (and cheap) when I needed to collect the leads.
It’s a super simple tool that helps to create nice looking lead forms and is very easy to use.
Top LeadPages Features
The LeadPages Editor
LeadPages has a drag and drop editor which makes it exclusively easy to create great-looking land pages in 10 minutes.
And that is very fast.
The best part is that you don’t need to even have any design skills. Because there are hundreds of templates already available to choose from.
I found it very easy to launch the landing pages because of their intuitive drag and drop editor.
You can also add some cool widgets to your landing pages like checkout elements or countdown timer.
I think the best part about LeadPages is their pure number of templates that you can choose from.
And what is even better than the number of templates is increasing every month.
You can find templates for almost any need you can think of:
- Basic landing pages
- Thank You pages
- Webinar pages
- Upsell pages
- Launch pages
- And much more…
Each of them is beautifully designed and are used by many famous bloggers and companies.
Leadboxes are the same pop-up opt-ins that you’re probably already familiar with.
However, Leadboxes have many great features that others tools are lacking.
You can have them pop up after a certain amount of time or a specific number of page views.
Or you can also create LeadBoxes that pop-up whenever it looks like your visitor is about to leave the page.
But the most popular feature is their 2-step opt-in forms.
This is where your visitor has to click on a link or button before the popup box will appear.
It has been proven that this micro-commitment can help improve your conversions by over 60%!
Content upgrades are used by many bloggers nowadays since it’s one of the best ways to collect leads from your visitors.
And this is where LeadBoxes can really show their power.
Another great feature that comes with LeadPages is their analytics.
When you’ll publish a page or pop-up they’ll automatically track views and conversions.
The analytics view for each of your pages and pop-ups contains a wealth of information.
At the top of the page, you’ll find a page summary featuring total counts of each metric they track:
- Unique views
- Conversions (opt-ins)
- Conversion rate
- Earnings (if using Checkouts)
The analytics page for each of your pages and pop-ups features a powerful, customizable graph so you can visualize your forms’ performance over time.
LeadPages price starts from $25 per month and goes up to $199 per month for the annual plans. And it costs about $37 per month up to $321 per month when billed monthly.
LeadPages has three price models depending on the features of each plan:
- Standard – from $25 per month

The Standard pricing tier starts out at $25 a month (if billed annually). Here you get access to the LeadPages landing pages and Leadboxes. However extra features like split testing, Lead Digits and access to the lucrative Leadpages affiliate program are not available.
The Pro pricing tier starts out at $48 a month and gives you access to all the extra features like split testing, Lead Digits, ability to collect payments and generate sales.

What Are The Main Benefits of LeadPages?

Easy Integration With Other Tools
LeadPages has hundreds of integrations available.
It easily connects your favorite marketing apps and sales tools to your Leadpages account.
And from there you can collect leads, add subscribers to your email list, register webinar attendees, update CRM contacts and more.
LeadPages Pros & Cons
- Huge selection of templates available
- Integrates with most 3rd party apps and services
- Easy of Use
- Quite difficult A/B testing feature
- Limited customizations of editor elements
- Limited styling options
Currently, LeadPages is one of the best tools for me to create landing pages for my marketing efforts to collect email leads.
It’s a very intuitive tool which makes me create landing pages especially fast.
It’s not a cheap option for sure, but considering how much revenue email marketing campaigns can bring in it’s definitely worth of investment.
