LeadPages Review: My Personal Experience
What I Enjoyed About LeadPages
Unlike other landing page tools, LeadPages offers a very interactive user dashboard.
I enjoyed the fact that I could conveniently view and manage all my landing pages across multiple domains.
If you couple this with the landing page creator with conversion-focused features geared towards leads, engaging your audience, and making sales, I can confidently add LeadPages to one of my best landing page builders.
Additionally, I really like the fact LeadPages’ solid integrations can make it possible to increase revenue by integrating built-in checkout processes and even third-party high converting sales pages.
What I Didn’t Like About LeadPages
One thing I didn’t like about LeadPages is limited styling options.
LeadPages tool is not very flexible when it comes to customization.
I couldn’t make significant changes to some of the page templates, making it hard to style the landing page to suit my brand.
But, if styling and customization isn’t something you’re after, then LeadPages premium templates will work perfectly for you.
LeadPages Features Review
LeadPages has various lucrative features, including lead branded features that come in handy in building high converting pages.
- Drag and drop editor page builder
- 100+ LeadPages templates
- Pop up and alert bars
Let’s take a look an in-depth look at some of the top features.
LeadPages Feature #1: Drag And Drop Editor Page Builder
The first thing you look for when selecting a page builder in this day and era is the drag and drop builder feature.
LeadPages drag and drop editor features were strongly influenced by users’ preferences and suggestions.
With this page building feature, you can do up to 18 different things on your page!
Using the drag and drop editor feature, you can:
- Build a custom page from scratch.
- Add, delete or adjust the different elements of your page.
- Make your page more dynamic.
- Increase image accessibility.
- Control what happens when you share your page on social media.
- Control how your page appears in the search results and so much more.
LeadPages Feature #2: 100+ Templates
One of the best features of the tool is the numerous LeadPages templates available.
LeadPages has various landing page templates readily available and designed to increase conversion rates on your site.
Apart from landing pages, there are different template categories you can choose from:
- Email opt-in forms
- Thank you page
- Check out forms
- Upsell or bonus page
- Webinar sign up
- And more
All the templates are free to use as long as you have a paid subscription.
LeadPages landing page templates are ideal for anyone having trouble creating sales pages from scratch.
LeadPages Feature #3: Pop up Forms & Alert Bars
Pop-up forms and alert bars are some of the quickest ways you can get customers to subscribe to your newsletter, blog, opt-in to any marketing campaign, or grow your email list.
LeadPages allows you to create new alert bars and landing page pop-ups and customize them as you please.
Pop-ups are similar to LeadBoxes.
A LeadBox is a pop-up window that appears after visitors click on a particular link, text, button, or even image.
There are numerous LeadBox customization options.
You can tweak the layout options, bar color, text link, position, and button style.
You can also include a third-party tracking code on your pop-up bar.
LeadPages Feature #4: Leaddigits
When it comes to modern marketing strategies, quite often, we totally ignore the offline world.
Leaddigits is an incredible feature that helps you get leads via text messaging.
Leaddigits one gives you the liberty to select the number your leads will receive messages from. It can either be long or short, depending on the country you’re in.
LeadPages statistics indicate that Leaddigits have a remarkable 98% conversion rate.
Unfortunately, Leaddigits currently offers local numbers for the U.S, Australia, Canada, and United Kingdom.
LeadPages Feature #5: LeadLinks
LeadLinks is a great way to get subscribers to sign up for a new offer with just a single click without opt-in again.
LeadLinks are used to re-engage your leads and move them down your marketing funnel.
It works by breaking down registration barriers for entry and making it easier for leads to opt-in to your offer.
LeadLinks can be used when selling to your email list, generating leads from affiliate links, or generally sending emails to your members.
Other LeadPages Features

The credit card details are required to prevent fraudsters from accessing LeadPages and any unnecessary interruptions after your trial period ends.

LeadPages Customer Support Review
LeadPages has a great customer support system.
The best way to contact their customer support is through your LeadPages account.
All you have to do is to log in to your account and click on support on your Navigation menu.
Generally, you can contact LeadPages customer support through chat, email, and phone.
Email support is relatively slow.
After sending an email, you can expect your response within 24-48 hours. To shorten the communication process, including all your relevant details and issues upon your first request.
The live chat support is included in the Pro and Advanced plans for fast response.
Chat is available from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM central time.

Also, I did quick research, and here’s what I found people like the most about LeadPages:

What Does LeadPages Look Like Compared to Its Alternatives?
|Pricing Plans|| |
The table above compares LeadPages to some of its alternatives.
We can see, LeadPages has some similarities with other landing page builders available in the market.
For example, A/B testing and drag and drop page builder is a very common feature.
From the table above, it is also clear that LeadPages is budget-friendly.
What Sets LeadPages Apart from Its Competitors?
When it comes to lead generation, LeadPages takes the lead.
This is what majorly sets apart the platform from its competitors.
There are numerous options you can use on LeadPages to maximize lead generation and conversion.
You can create pop-ups and opt-in forms, which you can place anywhere on your website.
Additionally, you can collect more leads through LeadLinks.
LeadLinks allows your subscribers to sign-up for new offers with just a single click.
It is a more direct way of getting your current subscribers to opt-in for new offers without necessarily re-entering their details.
LeadPages also has LeadDigits which helps you get subscribers via text message.
This feature is designed to integrate with email service providers.
All these features highly distinguish LeadPages from other landing page building platforms.
What Is LeadPages Lacking Compared to Its Competitors?
You cannot create a sales funnel using LeadPages.
This means you have to create every individual page in your funnel separately and ensure one-page redirects to another.
This makes the whole process of creating a sales funnel complicated.
So, if you want to build a sales funnel for your product or service, you will find ClickFunnels more useful.
You can also set up a multi-page sales funnel or conversion funnel with Unbounce.
Even though Unbounce isn’t an ‘all-in-one’ tool like ClickFunnels, it gives you the freedom to use the best-in-class tool to design your sales funnel as you please.
For instance, you can create a multi-page funnel with a button, using a form, or even collect visitors’ information using hidden fields.

Final Verdict: Is LeadPages Any Good?
Yes. LeadPages is a great landing page builder for small businesses looking to build an email list by collecting email addresses, create a landing page, and grow their business.
Despite the relatively high prices, LeadPages is worth the money.
Compared to other landing page builders available in the market, LeadPages is relatively cheaper.
LeadPages offers an easy way to create beautiful landing pages across multiple sites, and it contains advanced features like LeadBoxes, tons of integration, and A/B testing.
Using LeadPages as your landing page builder will save you a lot of time with lead generation compared to WordPress plugins or other website builders.
The easy-to-use drag and drop editor page builder can also help you run A/B tests, improve conversion rates, and design sales pages faster.
My Recommendations to Others Considering LeadPages
LeadPages is an efficient platform for growing your business.
If you want to increase your list through opt-in pages, webinars, etc., give LeadPages a try.
It works as a great lead generation tool that will help you easily collect leads.
Think of it as a new advertising tool for your business.

You can also use the tool to promote your content on Facebook and other social media platforms to collect more leads while tracking each individual page’s performance.
If you’re having problems with lead generation, use LeadPages targeting Facebook Ad features to attract more clients to your page and generate quality leads.
I would recommend LeadPages to anyone looking for a quick and cost-friendly solution for creating landing pages and sales pages.
However, it is important to note you cannot create a sales funnel with LeadPages.
