To be honest, when I first heard about it, I wasn’t sure it would be for me.

The whole challenge is built around AI and software, and I assumed it would mostly involve building complex software applications and learning to code with AI.

But after going through all five days of training and the VIP sessions, I realized that’s not really what Russell Brunson was teaching.

In fact, some of the ideas presented during the challenge were quite interesting and very different from what I expected going in.

So, in this review, I’ll show you exactly what the training looks like, what I bought, what I liked, what surprised me the most, and whether I think it’s worth your time.

While the challenge itself is free, there are a few things I think you should know before registering.

First of All, What Is the AI Secrets Challenge?

For those who haven’t heard about it yet, the AI Secrets Challenge is a free training event created by Russell Brunson and the ClickFunnels team.

The main idea behind the challenge is to show people how AI can be used to build products, start businesses, create additional income streams, and even turn existing knowledge into simple software applications.

Throughout the challenge, Russell is joined by Todd Dickerson, McCall Jones, and several guest speakers who share how they use AI in their businesses.

What makes this challenge a little different from most AI trainings I’ve seen is that it doesn’t focus heavily on coding or becoming a software developer.

Instead, the focus is on finding practical ways to use AI as an entrepreneur, marketer, course creator, consultant, or business owner.

And I have to say, that’s not what I expected when I first signed up.

But I’ll talk more about that later in this review.

Why I Decided to Try It

I’ve done quite a few of Russell Brunson’s trainings over the years.

So when I first heard about the AI Secrets Challenge, I was naturally curious to see what it was all about.

I’ve already been through several of Russell’s other trainings, including the Selling Online Challenge, the One Comma Club Challenge, and others.

So I was interested in seeing how this one compared, and whether there was anything new I could learn.

Over the last couple of years, it feels like everyone has been talking about AI, launching AI courses, and creating AI tools.

So at first, I wasn’t sure whether this challenge would actually teach something useful or just repeat things I’d already heard elsewhere.

What caught my attention was that Russell and the ClickFunnels team were placing a lot of emphasis on software development and AI-powered businesses.

And that’s actually what made me a little skeptical.

I’m not a software developer, and I have no desire to become one.

So I initially assumed much of the training would focus on coding and building complex software products.

Still, I decided to register and go through the entire challenge myself.

Partly because I wanted to see what Marketing Secrets AI could actually do.

And partly because I always like seeing how Russell approaches new opportunities and where he thinks the market is heading.

Looking back now, I’m glad I did because the challenge turned out to be quite different from what I expected.

How Much Did It Cost Me?

The good news is that the AI Secrets Challenge itself is completely free.

It didn’t cost me anything to register, attend the live sessions, or go through the main training.

However, as with most of Russell Brunson’s training, a few offers are presented throughout the challenge.

The main one is the VIP Upgrade.

The VIP Upgrade was also free when I registered, but there was one catch.

To claim it, I had to activate a 14-day free trial of Marketing Secrets AI and enter my credit card details.

That said, nothing was charged to my card during the first 14 days, and the subscription could be canceled at any time before the trial ended.

I decided to claim the VIP Upgrade to fully test everything the challenge has to offer.

The VIP package gave me access to the Marketing Secrets AI trial and additional VIP sessions, which I’ll discuss later in this review.

Besides the VIP Upgrade, you’ll also hear about several other offers throughout the training.

The biggest one is the Marketing Secrets AI Platinum Offer, which costs $2,997 and includes six months of the Platinum plan, plus additional bonuses.

If you decide not to purchase the Platinum package, you’ll also have the option to continue using Marketing Secrets AI through one of their regular subscription plans, which currently start at $97 per month and go up to $297 per month.

So while the challenge itself is completely free, it’s important to understand that it also serves as a way to introduce people to Marketing Secrets AI and the offers built around it.

What I Actually Bought

I only claimed the VIP Upgrade.

Since the challenge itself was free, it seemed like a no-brainer to me.

The 14-day free trial gave me enough time to test the software, explore its features, and better understand what Russell and his team were demonstrating throughout the training.

At the time of writing this review, I haven’t purchased the Marketing Secrets AI Platinum Offer.

The main reason is that it requires a fairly significant upfront investment, and I didn’t see a strong enough reason to make that commitment right now.

At the moment, I’m not actively selling courses, running coaching programs, or delivering large-scale training programs. So a lot of the additional features included with the Platinum package would simply go unused in my business.

That said, I do see value in Marketing Secrets AI for some of the affiliate marketing campaigns I’m running.

Because of that, I’ve decided to keep the standard $97-per-month subscription for now, which is more than enough for my current needs.

However, that doesn’t mean the Platinum package isn’t worth considering.

In fact, I think it could make much more sense for people who are actively selling courses, running coaching programs, hosting training sessions, or building educational products.

The key question isn’t whether the Platinum package is good or bad.

The real question is whether you’ll actually use what you’re paying for.

If the answer is yes, then the higher upfront investment may very well be justified.

How the Training Is Delivered

The training is delivered entirely through video sessions.

But I have to say, it doesn’t feel like a traditional online course.

Most of the sessions take place inside the Marketing Secrets podcast studio, where Russell Brunson is joined by Todd Dickerson, McCall Jones, and various guest speakers throughout the challenge.

At times, Russell presents concepts using slides and examples. Other times, the training shifts into discussions, interviews, software demonstrations, and conversations about how they use AI in their own businesses.

I must admit that I kinda liked this format because it made the training feel more engaging than simply watching someone go through slides for several hours.

Each day consists of one main training session, although the length varies quite a bit from day to day.

Some sessions are around two and a half hours long, while others run for more than four hours.

In total, the challenge contains nearly 17 hours of training spread across five days.

If you claim the VIP Upgrade, you’ll also get access to additional VIP sessions where Russell, Todd, and McCall go deeper into topics covered in the main training.

I’ll talk more about those sessions later because they ended up being one of the more interesting parts of the challenge for me.

What Happens During the Training?

The challenge is split into five training days, with each day focusing on a different topic.

Day 1: The 7-Figure AI Shortcut

The first day is called The 7-Figure AI Shortcut and lasts roughly two and a half hours.

This day serves as a general introduction to AI and how Russell Brunson and his team are currently using it inside their business.

Russell talks about how AI has changed the way they operate, how they use it to speed up various tasks, and how it allows them to get more done with fewer people involved.

Another interesting part of Day 1 was the concept of creating your own AI coach.

The idea is that you can take your knowledge, experience, frameworks, and expertise and turn them into an AI-powered assistant that can help users solve specific problems.

Depending on your business, that AI coach could be used internally, given away as a lead magnet, or even sold as a standalone product.

It wasn’t the most exciting day for me, but it did a good job of setting the stage for some of the bigger ideas introduced later.

Day 2: The Billion Dollar Breakthrough

The second day is called The Billion Dollar Breakthrough, and it’s one of the longer sessions in the challenge, running around three and a half hours.

This is also the day when things started getting much more interesting.

Up until this point, I still wasn’t entirely sure where Russell was going with all of this AI and software talk.

But Day 2 introduced what was probably the biggest idea of the entire challenge.

Russell spends some time talking about how he got started with sales funnels, courses, and information products. But then he makes a pretty bold statement.

He argues that traditional courses are becoming less effective because so many people today are simply repackaging information they learned from someone else’s course.

Now, to be fair, he later clarifies that courses aren’t actually dead.

His point is that they may need to evolve.

And that’s where the main idea of Day 2 comes in.

Instead of delivering information through long video courses and giant PDF files, Russell suggests turning your frameworks, processes, and expertise into simple software applications.

The goal was to create simple tools that help users achieve results faster than they would with a traditional course.

One example Russell used was the book Think and Grow Rich.

Instead of asking someone to read the entire book and figure everything out on their own, he demonstrated how the book’s principles and frameworks could be transformed into a software tool that guides users through the process.

Whether you agree with that idea or not, I thought it was an interesting way to look at information products.

Another feature introduced on Day 2 was Marketing Secrets AI’s Influencer Secrets.

This tool helps users find influencers in specific niches and organize them into lists for later outreach and marketing campaigns.

The session concluded with a more detailed presentation of the Marketing Secrets AI Platinum Offer.

Day 3: The One-Person Marketing Machine

The third day is called The One-Person Marketing Machine and lasts around four hours.

This day shifts away from software creation and focuses more on marketing.

In particular, Russell discusses how AI can be used to create marketing assets much faster than most people are accustomed to.

One area he spends quite a bit of time on is email marketing.

He demonstrates how he uses various frameworks to create emails for broadcasts, follow-up sequences, and other marketing campaigns.

Another thing Russell demonstrates is a Marketing Secrets AI feature called One-to-Many Emails.

Here’s the idea behind it:

Instead of writing every email individually, you can create a piece of content once and then use AI to transform it into multiple emails, messages, and marketing assets.

Day 4: The One-Person Software Machine

The fourth day is called The One-Person Software Machine and lasts around three hours.

This is the day when the challenge goes much deeper into software creation.

One of the guest speakers during this session is Josh Latimer, who shares how he has combined his frameworks and expertise with software to build multiple successful businesses.

Later in the training, Todd Dickerson demonstrates a tool called Overskill and shows how AI can be used to create software even with little or no coding experience.

Most of the examples shown throughout the challenge focus on creating relatively simple tools using your existing knowledge, frameworks, and expertise.

Day 5: The AI Side Hustle

One thing Russell talked about quite a bit during this session was using AI to create simple software for other businesses.

The idea is that many business owners already have knowledge, frameworks, and processes that could potentially be turned into software.

And with today’s AI tools, doing that is becoming much easier than it was just a few years ago.

The VIP Sessions

One thing I haven’t talked about yet is the VIP sessions.

These are additional sessions that are only available if you claim the VIP Upgrade.

I originally signed up for the VIP Upgrade mainly to test Marketing Secrets AI and access the replays.

But the VIP sessions ended up being one of the more interesting parts of the challenge.

Most of them are 30 to 60 minutes long and feature Russell Brunson, Todd Dickerson, and McCall Jones discussing how they use AI in their businesses.

Instead of following a structured presentation, they often talked about how they personally use AI in their businesses, how they approach different projects, and what they’re currently experimenting with.

Is It Really About Building Software?

Honestly, this was probably my biggest misconception before joining the challenge.

When I heard Russell talk about software, I immediately assumed the training would focus on coding, developers, and building complex SaaS products.

And I was so wrong.

Yes, software is discussed throughout the training.

But in most cases, Russell is talking about simple software tools built around existing knowledge, frameworks, processes, and information products.

For example, instead of teaching someone through a long course or a 200-page PDF, they suggest creating a simple tool that helps users get a specific result faster.

One of the biggest takeaways from this challenge was that Russell sees simple software as the next evolution of information products.

And I have to admit, it was an interesting way of looking at things, and it definitely changed how I think about courses and digital products.

Who Is This For (And Who Should Skip It)

I think this challenge is a good fit for entrepreneurs, marketers, consultants, coaches, and course creators who want to better understand how AI can be used in their businesses.

It’s especially useful if you already have some knowledge, frameworks, or processes that you use and are curious about new ways to package and deliver them.

On the other hand, this challenge probably isn’t for everyone.

If you’re expecting a deep technical training on programming, software engineering, or building advanced SaaS applications, you’ll likely be disappointed.

Likewise, if you’re looking for a quick way to make money without putting in any effort, this probably isn’t the right training for you.

I think the people who will get the most value from this challenge are those who are open to new ideas and willing to think differently about how products, services, and information can be delivered using AI.

Should You Register?

Yes, I think it’s worth registering.

After going through the entire challenge, I can honestly say I came away with several interesting ideas and a different perspective on how AI can be used in business.

The fact that the challenge itself is completely free also makes the decision much easier.

At worst, you’ll spend some time learning how one of the most successful online marketers in the world thinks about AI and where he believes the opportunities are.

At best, you may walk away with an idea that changes how you approach your business.

What If You Don’t Want the $2,997 Offer?

If you go through the challenge and decide that the $2,997 Platinum Offer isn’t for you, that’s completely fine.

That’s exactly where I ended up.

While I can definitely see the value in the Platinum package, it simply didn’t make sense for my business right now.

Before spending $2,997, first make sure you’re actually going to use what you’re paying for.

If you’re actively selling courses, coaching, consulting, or other educational products, the Platinum package may very well make sense.

But if you’re still exploring the platform and figuring out how you’ll use it, starting with the regular subscription is probably the safer option.

At the end of the day, the goal isn’t to buy the biggest package available.

The goal is to choose the option that makes the most sense for your business.

So, What’s My Verdict?

If you decide to go through the challenge, don’t focus too much on the AI tools themselves.

Instead, focus on the ideas and what you can offer for your users.

Don’t wait until you’ve finished all five days of training.

Start sketching out ideas, testing concepts, and thinking about how you could apply what you’re learning to your own business.
